Nestled in the Juderia district of Cordoba, the 2-star smoke-free Hotel Los Omeyas Cordoba is about a 5-minute walk from the mudéjar-style 1300s Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs Palace. A family atmosphere and excellent services make this quality hotel a great place to stay in Cordoba.
The hotel has an excellent setting not far from the famed patios of Córdoba, while natural sights like the landscaped Jardines de la Merced Park are a mere 1.2 km away. Guests can visit the Museum of Archaeological of Cordoba, located within 10 minutes' walk of the Los Omeyas, and the perennial Zoo Cordoba, which is around 20 minutes' walk away. Also, Parque Cruz Conde is situated a mere 1.1 km away. Just moments from this accommodation you'll find the Mezquita Cathedral of Cordoba. There is Puerta del Puente bus stop 300 metres from the Los Omeyas Cordoba.
The rooms comprise a terrace complete with an air conditioner, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and a multi-channel TV. A bidet and a separate toilet, along with such comforts as a hair dryer and bath sheets are also at guests' disposal.
Located steps away from Hotel Los Omeyas, the restaurant Bodegas Mezquita Cespedes offers a Mediterranean menu.
Review by hotel critic
During my stay in Cordoba's historical old town, I found the hotel's proximity to the city's major attractions truly convenient. Situated in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the hotel's location allowed easy access to renowned landmarks such as the Calahorra Tower and Alcazar. The room provided was clean and spacious, offering a comfortable stay. A notable feature was the 24-hour front desk and the availability of tour/ticket assistance, enhancing the overall experience.Despite the central location, exploring the narrow, picturesque streets was a slight challenge, especially with the lack of prominent signage. However, the absence of a lift in the building was mitigated by the staff's helpfulness in carrying luggage. The dining options in the vicinity were varied, though predominantly catering to tourists rather than offering authentic local cuisine. In conclusion, my brief stay in this well-positioned hotel allowed for easy exploration of Cordoba's historic treasures, providing a satisfactory level of comfort and service.
